This week the challenge is textues. Not sure what that means but here is my attempt. This is the corner of Frankie' s birthday cake.

Three years ago I attempted to do this and made it a third of the way. Its a new year (or years later) and here my new attempt. This is our project: to take one photo per day for an entire year. That's the only stipulation--just take one photo! It can be of anything or anyone. I thought it was such a neat idea and am excited to start one myself! Right now I'm just using a my Canon Digital Rebel XTi. Enjoy the photos and please feel free to leave comments and feedback.

These, especially the top photo, look like pictures you'd see in a cooking magazine! When you've captured the essence of the cake to the point where it feels real enough to eat what you are seeing that is talent! Wonderful texture! It makes me want to see what you could do with a pastry pic!
