Our plastic surgeon for Kate's stitches said that vitamin E oil rubbed on a healing wound twice a day for a minute (after stitches are out of course) will keep it from developing scar tissue, and a strong sunscreen on it until the pigment returns will keep it from developing the permanent mark that makes it a scar. (Although B says he thinks boys like scars - that they are their battle wounds;)
Three years ago I attempted to do this and made it a third of the way. Its a new year (or years later) and here my new attempt. This is our project: to take one photo per day for an entire year. That's the only stipulation--just take one photo! It can be of anything or anyone. I thought it was such a neat idea and am excited to start one myself! Right now I'm just using a my Canon Digital Rebel XTi. Enjoy the photos and please feel free to leave comments and feedback.
